I have two things to say about Pete Rose betting on the Reds every night.
First, that is what I am talking about. If you are in a competition, you should be able to put some money on yourself. What a better way to show faith in your abilities, and to show everyone that no matter the outcome, you gave it your all.
Second, who the hell bets on baseball besides degenerate gamblers anyway? And every single game? I know he is full of shit. Lets say you he is the current Twins manager and Johan Santana is pitching against some bum one night. Yeah, I would put a C-note on that game as well. But lets say the next night, you have some AAA call up going against Oswalt, in your right mind how are you going to bet on your own team? Yeah the line comes into play a little, but I seriously question his integrity on this matter.
Not that Pete Rose has integrity issues.
