AFN Right Wing Conspiracy

For those of you who have never been stationed at a military base overseas, AFN is the Armed Forces Network. It is a mix of 12 channels that plays some of the popular shows from the US along with the news and one channel called the Commander Access Channel which shows the same 30 PowerPoint slides over and over again. All in all, AFN sucks ass. Most of the shows are from last year, and there is really only 12 hours of programming a day, which they repeat for people who are working on shifts. It alone has forced me to pirate 50 gigs of tv shows and movies.

Alicia's normal daily activities puts her in front of the TV to watch The View sometime between eating breakfast and going to work. During today's View there was a Democratic political analyst on discussing how the democrats could win the '08 Presidential election and all of a sudden, that channel goes blank. She checked every other channel and all of them were in working order. And as soon as the guy was done talking, the channel was back to normal.

Coincidence? I think not. Its obvious to me that the current administration is willing to pull out all of the stops in order to prevent the military wives from getting both sides of the political picture.
